Colours and terminology!

ACHROMATIC - free of colour
ANALOGOUS - hues that are next to one another on the colour wheel
CHROMATIC - Having colour
COMPLEMENTARY - the colours opposite to each other on the colour wheel
COOL - the colours on the green-blue side of the colour wheel
HUE -another word for colour
MONOCHROMATIC - having one colour
POLYCHROMATIC - having many colours
PRIMARY COLOURS - red, blue and yellow
SECONDARY COLOURS - orange, green and purple (are created by mixing primary colours)
TERTIARY COLOURS - created by mixing primary colours with secondary colours.
WARM - the colours on the yellow-orange-red side of the colour wheel
