Sussex Sculpture Studios is an artist led organisation that offers workspace for both professional and non professional sculptors as well as running courses suitable for all levels of abilities. Visit our website or contact us for more details.

We run affordable courses in:
ceramic sculpture, mask making, modelling from the life figure, portrait sculpture, casting and finishing, soft stone carving and garden sculpture (direct modelling in ciment fondu onto a steel armature to produce larger scale work). Classes are small to ensure a good level of one to one tuition.

Studio time can be booked for those wanting to work on their own projects.

We also offer taster sessions for complete beginners.

Career Development: Artists' Documentation Workshops by tutor David Tolley: These one day workshops are designed to help artists/art students learn to produce high quality images of their work for publication applications and portfolios.

Need plinths? We make bespoke plinths to exhibition standard for hire or purchase.
